TEHRAN September 02.2023 (Saba) - Russian Yak-130 combat training aircraft arrived in Iran and were handed over to the Iranian Air Force.
The Iranian Tasnim News Agency reported on Saturday that the Air Force had received Russian Yak-130 training aircraft and had begun using them.
According to Tasnim Agency, the Yak-130 is an advanced combat training aircraft designed and produced by the Russian Yakolov Corporation, and is capable of meeting the training needs of fourth-generation fighter pilots.
The agency reported that Moscow and Tehran intend to sign an agreement to cooperate in the production and maintenance of aircraft and helicopters.
