OCCUPIED QUDS September 02.2023 (Saba) - President of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, welcomed the statements of Belgian Minister of Cooperation and Development Caroline Jenes regarding the violations and crimes of the Zionist enemy in the occupied Palestinian territory.
Fattouh said in a statement today, Saturday, reported by the Palestinian News Agency, that these statements express the injustice befalling the Palestinian people, the daily cruelty and crimes of the enemy, and documented facts that occur on a daily basis in the occupied territories.
He condemned the heinous and unjustified Zionist attack against the minister and her statements, noting that they come within the framework of intimidating those who criticize the enemy entity and an attempt to obscure the reality of the ongoing historical injustice to which the Palestinian people are exposed.
He called on the European Union countries, the international community, and relevant UN institutions to take practical and concrete steps to criminalize the Zionist enemy for its violations and hold its leaders accountable for their crimes documented in UN and international reports and human rights organizations.
Minister Jenes said in an interview with the Belgian newspaper "De Morgan" that the year 2023 is considered the bloodiest year in a long time in the Palestinian-Zionist conflict, and we have witnessed entire villages being wiped off the map by the "Israelis."
