MOSCOW July 17. 2023 (SABA) - The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Kiev's statements after the attack on Crimea Bridge confirm the involvement of Ukraine's political leadership and competent security agencies in the attack.

In a statement on Monday, the ministry stressed that all attempts to disrupt transport links with the peninsula and to sever Crimea's association with the rest of Russia could not be achieved and would fail.

Russian Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Crimea Bridge and asserted that it was a purely civilian facility unrelated to military affairs.

"The reaction of a number of Ukrainian parliamentarians to the tragedy of civilian deaths as a result of the attack on the bridge has been terrible and brutal and the Federal Russia expects the international community to be impartial and provide a proper assessment of the terrorist attack on the Crimea Bridge," the ministry said.

The Ministry noted that those responsible for the attack on Crimea Bridge would inevitably be identified and would not escape justice.
