HEBRON July 17. 2023 (Saba) - The Zionist settlers on Monday released their sheep into the Palestinian agricultural lands east of Yatta, south of Hebron and destroyed the agricultural crops there, under the protection of the Zionist enemy forces.
The Palestinian news agency (Wafa) quoted anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh as saying that the settlers of "Havat Ma'on" that seized the citizens' lands let their sheep into the agricultural crops of the villages of Maghayer al-Abeed and al-Tuba, causing damage to the wheat and barley crops, which extend over about ten dunums.
The settlers seized a water well owned by Issa Ali Awad in the village of al-Tuba and set up a tent near the citizens' homes by force of arms.
The Israeli occupation forces uprooted Monday dozens of fruit trees from the lands of Husan village, west of Bethlehem.
Head of the Husan village council Jamal Sabateen stated that the occupation forces uprooted dozens of olive, almond and grapevine trees in the "Qadis" area, adjacent to "Beitar Illit" settlement, which is located on the citizens' lands belongs to citizen, Mashhour Hamamra.
Sabateen added that the occupation forces beat Hamamreh's wife, Nawal, and his son Mohammed when they tried to confront the occupation bulldozers.
It is noteworthy that Qudais area has been subjected to repeated attacks by settlers and the occupation forces, which are represented by leveling lands, uprooting trees, setting fires, and attacking land owners.
