SANA'A July 12, 2023 (Saba) - Minister of Culture Abdullah al-Kibsi honored YouTuber Rabih Al-Bahri at the Ministry of Culture’s office, in recognition of his courageous initiative to delete all content offensive to the Islamic religion and alien to the culture and morals of the conservative Yemeni people, which was previously published on his YouTube channel.
During the honoring, the Minister of Culture praised the courage of YouTuber Rabih Al-Bahri, calling on all writers, intellectuals, and citizens to confront this fierce attack targeting the Islamic religion and the authentic Yemeni customs and traditions.
The Minister stressed the necessity of adhering to directives of the leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi in the necessity of preserving the faith identity and adhering to the principles and constants that guarantee the preservation of the identity of Yemeni society.
He pointed out that the Yemeni people were distinguished from other peoples by the authentic values and traditions stemming from and derived from the Islamic religion, which require standing together to protect them. Because the aggression, after its military and field failure, turned towards the cultural and intellectual war to try to obliterate, distort and erase the authentic Yemeni values and instill everything that is disgusting and ugly in Yemeni society.
Deputy Minister of Culture Mohammed Haydara stressed the importance of continuing popular campaigns and various activities to stand against attempts to distort the features of the Yemeni cultural scene in its various fields, especially those related to the authentic values of our Yemeni society.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Culture will, for its part, take all firm measures to confront anyone who tempts himself to compromise religious constants and foundations or distort the authentic Yemeni customs and traditions.
