BEIJING July 10. 2023 (Saba) - China on Monday called for a more just and rational international order to manage global development.
The Russian Novosti agency quoted head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Wang Yi as saying at a conference of the Global Action Forum for Common Development held on Monday, that China has always closely linked its fate with the fate of other countries and seeks to create new opportunities for common development to all countries through the new development of China.
He stressed China's willingness to continue working with other countries to discuss global development issues, accelerate the path of common development, join forces to implement the United Nations 2030 Agenda, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.
Yi added, "We must strive to manage common development, uphold true multilateralism, resist unilateral attempts to sever relations and intimidation, uphold the comprehensive coordinating role of the United Nations, promote reform of multilateral development institutions, increase the representation and voice of emerging markets and developing countries, and create a more comprehensive system fairly and rationally to manage global development."
