OCCUPIED AL-QUDS June 23.2023 (Saba) – Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire on Friday evening, on extremist settlers and their houses, near Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank.
Tulkarm Brigade, the "Quick Response Group", said in a press statement: "We carried out a double operation, as we opened fire towards the "Avni Hefetz" settlement, and at the same time, we opened fire towards a gathering of settlers between Kafr al-Labad and Thanabah, east of Tulkarm.
It added, according to Palestinian media, that "this operation comes as part of a series of responses to settler attacks on our people, and in retaliation for the storming and desecration of the Orif Mosque."
According to local sources, “the enemy forces stormed and confiscated surveillance camera recordings after shooting towards the settlement."
Eyewitnesses stated that “the clashes centered near Al-Abidin Mosque in the eastern neighborhood of the suburb, during which live bullets, stun grenades and poisonous gas were fired at the Palestinian citizens."
