BEIRUT June 09. 2023 (Saba) - On Friday, the Lebanese Army carried out a large deployment along the withdrawal line in the Kafr Shuba hills, southern Lebanon, with UNIFIL personnel present.
Al-Mayadeen reported that Lebanese youths from the occupied Kafr Shuba hills area in southern Lebanon had removed barbed wire put in place by the Zionist enemy and rained down a tunnel that had been set up in the area.
A Lebanese citizen was wounded by tear gas fired by Zionist enemy soldiers at the people of Kafr Shuba, while Lebanese Army soldiers took combat positions against enemy soldiers.
A Lebanese car was also hit by a "tear gas" bomb fired by enemy soldiers at the Kafr Shuba border post.
Zionist enemy forces fired smoke bombs at the people of Kafr Shuba, who overtook the barbed strip planted by the occupying entity.
Enemy forces brought the Mercava tank and soldiers from the occupied Sumaqa position to the point of tension with the Lebanese Armed Forces in the town of Kafr Shuba.
