SANA'A May 07. 2023 (Saba)- The Deputy Minister of Education, Khaled Jahader, inaugurated the general basic certificate exams, which were submitted by 266 thousand and 255 male and female students distributed in two thousand and 527 examination centers throughout the provinces.
Where the Deputy Minister, along with the Undersecretaries of the Ministry for the Curriculum and Guidance Sector, Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Examinations, Ahmed Al-Nono, and the Education Sector, Abdullah Al-Nami, were briefed on the progress of the exams in Al-Hassan Al-Hamedani and Imam Ali bin Abi Talib schools in Hamedan District, Sana’a province.
They heard from the Director General of Examinations in the Ministry, Hamid Ghathayeh, and the Director of the Education Office in the province, Hadi Ammar, an explanation about the efforts made to provide the appropriate atmosphere for the success of the exams.
At the inauguration, Jahader stressed the importance of everyone's concerted efforts and their active contribution to the success of the exams, in a way that ensures measuring the level of educational attainment of students.
He referred to the Ministry's continuous efforts to modernize and develop public tests and advance the educational process despite the scarcity of capabilities as a result of the difficult conditions resulting from the continuation of the aggression and its unjust siege, appreciating the steadfastness of educators and their continuation in performing their duties, thanks to which the educational front achieves its achievements.
Jahader called on parents to provide the appropriate atmosphere for their children to enable them to study their lessons, urging the students to focus when reading the test questions and pondering the answer.
While Al-Nono, touched on the efforts of the \Education Ministry to develop and modernize tests and computerize them, thus recording a quantum leap despite the suffering caused by targeting the direct and systematic aggression of the educational process with all its components.
