SANA'A January 08.2023 (Saba) - The Ministry of Human Rights condemned the continued crimes against African civilians and migrants in the border regions by Saudi Arabia's army and border guards most recently, 11 people fell between killed and injured.
In a statement on Saturday, the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) had received a copy of it, the Ministry was surprised of the continued silence of the international community, international bodies and organizations, notably the United Nations, for the Saudi regime's crimes.
It said that: "We remind the world, all its humanitarian bodies, that since the beginning of the armistice, the victims of Saudi aggression have reached 2,000 and 258, of these, 285 are martyrs in the border districts of Sa'ada, the tally continues to rise, artillery shells and machine-gun weapons still fall on the heads of civilians and migrants, as well as the most severe forms of torture and debasement ".
The Ministry launched a humanitarian appeal calling on the free world, human rights organizations, to put pressure on the Saudi regime to prevent further crimes of extermination against Yemeni citizens and African migrants on the strip and border areas, and move in accordance with its humanitarian principles to condemn such crimes and hold perpetrators accountable.
The Ministry of Human Rights renewed the call for competent bodies and all humanitarian and international organizations to be informed of the crimes committed by the Saudi regime offences in border areas, the killing and torture of citizens and displaced persons in light of the high toll of victims and the limited health potential. An indication of the importance of organizations working in Yemen by providing the necessary requirements to ambulance the wounded.
