Human Rights Ministry holds press conference on aggression against Yemen

SANAA, Sep. 23 (Saba) - The Ministry of Human Rights organized a press conference on Wednesday in Sanaa on the aggression against Yemen under the title "War crimes and international complicity."

At the conference, Deputy Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, appreciated the efforts of the ministry's cadres and the technical committee consisting of twenty ministries, bodies and official institutions that participated in preparing the report "2000 Days of Aggression".

Al-Dailami pointed out that the report focused on the crimes committed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition, which were classified as war crimes in accordance with international humanitarian law, indicating that there is a problem with those conventions, international laws, principles and the Declaration of Human Rights.

"There are many international laws, rules and agreements that protect human beings, women and children in light of wars and crises, but we are facing an obstacle to their implementation and international interests, as is the case in the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen," Al-Dailami said.

Al-Dailami affirmed that what is happening in Yemen two thousand days ago is the result of an American plan under an Arab administration, and that the United Nations is aware of all these crimes and is working to disrupt international laws.

He touched on the aggression coalition’s blockade on Al-Durayhimi district in Hodeidah province, the situation of 'Safer' ship and targeting of civilians and infrastructure.
