SANAA, Jan. 22 (Saba) - The head of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs Abdel Mohsen Tawoos on Wednesday affirmed enhancing cooperation and administrative coordination related to the humanitarian organizations' work in Yemen.

The move came during his meeting with the director of the European Commission Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO) and representatives of the Swiss Agency and OCHA.

During the meeting, Tawoos stressed on the importance of the council's role in facilitating the humanitarian action and ways to overcome challenges and difficulties that face workers of the humanitarian organizations.

He urged the international donors to work to provide development projects that would support the Yemeni people for overcoming the difficult humanitarian situation caused by the war and the siege imposed by the Saudi-led aggression states for mostly five years.

Meanwhile, ECHO official affirmed that the donors keenness to exert efforts further to support the humanitarian side in Yemen.
