BAYDA, Mar. 5 (Saba) – The army and popular forces killed and injured 36 elements from Daesh and al-Qaida organization in a special military operation in southern province of al-Bayda overnight, a military official told Saba on Sunday.

The operation was carried out during fierce clashes launched by the army and popular forces against the terrorists and their hideouts in the villages of Hamat al-Hasm, Lukah, al-Eshash and al-Jamri in al-Kuraishiyah district.

The confrontations resulted in the killing of 17 terrorists and injuring of 19 other terrorists.
