TAIZ, Jan. 30 (Saba) – Dozens of Saudi-paid mercenaries were killed and wounded when the army and popular forces foiled their attempt to infiltrate toward Mocha district of Taiz province overnight, a military official told Saba on Monday.
The operation killed and injured dozens of the mercenaries.
The official also said that the US-backed Saudi-paid mercenaries also tried to move toward al-Khadhra area, under heavy cover by the aggression warplanes, and support from Al-Qaeda members, Daesh and the Janjaweed militia, but the mercenaries' attempt also was thwarted.
Many mercenaries were killed and two of their military vehicles were damaged in the botched operation.
Meanwhile, the enemy fighter jets launched more than 250 air raids on Mocha over the past hours, the official added.
