Medical sources announced on Tuesday the martyrdom of Palestinian Legislative Council member Faraj Al-Ghoul in a Zionist airstrike on his home in Gaza City at dawn.

A source at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza confirmed the martyrdom of MP Faraj Al-Ghoul in the strike that targeted his home in the city.

Dozens of Palestinians were also martyred and injured on Tuesday in Israeli airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip, as the genocidal war continues for the 648th day.

The Emergency and Ambulance Service reported that five people were martyred at dawn in an Israeli strike on a house in Al-Shati Camp, west of Gaza City.

Media sources said Israeli airstrikes also targeted the vicinity of Al-Sham’ah Mosque in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Since October 7, 2023, enemy forces, with direct support from the U.S. administration, have been committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip — including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement — amid disregard for international appeals and the orders of the International Court of Justice to halt the aggression.
