The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Moscow insists on the need for some UN officials to abandon their biased approach and calls on them to stop acting as a mouthpiece for Western propaganda regarding the Ukrainian crisis.
The Russia Today website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement on Thursday, commenting on recent statements by UN Secretary-General António Guterres: "Russia insists that UN officials abandon their biased approach and calls on them to stop acting as mouthpieces for Western propaganda and disseminating misleading and false information. Russia stresses the need for them to adopt a neutral and responsible position befitting their status and to work only with reliable sources of information."
The ministry noted that Guterres' recent statements condemning the alleged Russian attacks indicate his support for the Kyiv regime.
