The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, confirmed that the United States did not skimp on any assistance to the Zionist regime in its aggression against Iran, and did everything in its power to provide it with information and full logistical support.
Iran's Mehr News Agency reported that Mousavi's statement came in a phone call with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.
Major General Mousavi said: "I express my deep gratitude to the Qatari government for its valuable positions in condemning the aggressors on Iranian territory. Qatar is one of the countries that has firmly supported the struggle of the oppressed Palestinian people. Iran's right to wage the 12-day war imposed on the world was proven, and it became clear to the world that the United States and the Zionist regime do not adhere to any international principles or norms."
Major General Mousavi added, "The United States spared no effort in assisting the Zionist regime in this 12-day war, and did everything in its power to provide intelligence and full logistical support for the regime's defensive operations against Iranian missiles and drones. The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran confronted the aggression with all their might and responded to the aggressors with all their might."
Khaled bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, in turn, said in this call: "Qatar condemned Israel's aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran from the outset, announced to the conflicting parties that the Qatari government would not allow its airspace and territory to be used for war, and has always called for resolving the issue through dialogue and diplomacy."
