Hebron - Saba:
Abdulrahman Shadid, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, said on Thursday that the assassination of young man Muhammad Ahmad al-Hur by settlers in the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, is an extension of the Zionist enemy's systematic policy of brutally and sadistically killing unarmed Palestinian civilians.
According to the Sanad News Agency, Shadid mourned the martyr al-Hur, stressing that the barbaric and organized attacks by settlers and the burning of Palestinian agricultural lands will only strengthen our people's resolve and determination to cling to their land and rights.
He held the enemy government fully responsible for this heinous crime and for the escalating attacks on our villages and cities in the West Bank, which are part of a clear settlement plan aimed at displacing residents and seizing land. Shadid called on the international community and human rights organizations to assume their responsibilities, condemn these crimes, and hold the enemy accountable for its ongoing violations against the Palestinian people, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law.
Shadid also called on the Palestinian people to forcefully confront settler attacks by all means, escalate all forms of resistance, and disrupt the enemy at all points of contact.
A citizen was martyred and others were injured on Thursday evening after being shot by settlers in the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron.
