Israeli media sources reported Tuesday the death of one Israeli soldier and multiple casualties during ongoing armed confrontations in Shuja'iyya neighborhood, eastern Gaza City.

- An "security incident" occurred among Israeli army units in Shuja'iyya resulting in casualties.
- Intense gun battles continue between Israeli forces and Hamas resistance fighters in the area.
- Israeli military helicopters evacuated wounded soldiers to Ichilov Hospital (Tel Aviv) and Soroka Medical Center (Beersheba).
- The Israeli Air Force is providing aerial support for ground operations in Shuja'iyya
