Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast thunderstorms of varying intensity across several governorates, warning of deteriorating visibility over the next 24 hours.

The center stated in its weather bulletin that heavy thunderstorms, sometimes accompanied by hail, are expected in Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhale'e, northern Lahj, Raymah, and western Dhamar.

Rain of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is expected in parts of the governorates of Sana'a, Amran, Al Mahwit, Hajjah, and Saada, as well as the plateaus and highlands of Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramaut.

Scattered rain is likely to fall on parts of the eastern and southern coasts, the southern west coast, and the Tihama plain.

Over the past 24 hours, rainfall reached 19.6 mm in Ibb, 7.0 mm in Taiz, and 2.0 mm in Ataq, according to meteorological stations. Scattered rains of varying intensity fell on parts of the western highlands and the interior plateaus, but were outside the stations' range.

The center warned citizens and drivers against being in or crossing flood channels and valleys during and after rainfall, and against lightning and reduced visibility due to low clouds, fog, and water mist, especially on mountain roads and slopes.
