The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that heavy rains in Gaza have flooded the tents of displaced people, calling on the Zionist enemy to lift the blockade in order to deliver humanitarian aid to the Strip.

UNRWA explained in a statement yesterday, Sunday, that the heavy rains that fell on the Strip caused the tents to be flooded, leaving thousands of displaced Palestinians with nowhere to go.

It is noted that the Zionist authorities continue to close the border crossings with Gaza and do not allow any humanitarian aid or commercial products into the Strip.

It was noted that Palestinians in Gaza are subjected to continuous shelling amid the cold and rainy weather, in addition to the lack of adequate shelter.
