Al-Bayda - Saba :
A meeting was held in Al-Bayda Governorate, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, to discuss the level of electricity service and ways to improve the performance of the Electricity Corporation branch.
The Director of Electricity of the Governorate, Eng. Mohammed Al-Hatami reviewed a report on the electricity situation, where the number of subscribers reached 7,280 subscribers, with a generation capacity of 2.8 MW, and the highest current load of 1.4 MW, regarding the challenges and proposed solutions to expand the network.
The meeting discussed measures taken to address power outages and performance improvement efforts, including revenue collection, inspection, and maintenance of power transmission lines.
Governor Idris affirmed the local authority's support for the institution to enhance its performance, and urged workers to "address imbalances and improve service, stressing the importance of "qualifying cadres, controlling collection, and maintaining networks" to address electrical losses in the districts of Al-Bayda.
