Amran - Saba:
The Central Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Local and Rural Administration and Development, in coordination with the Local Authority in Amran Governorate, launched the second phase of supporting Community Initiatives Projects, where the support included 12,000 bags of cement and 63,000 liters of diesel as the fourth batch within the program designated to support these projects.
The Director of Community Initiatives in Amran, Hashem Al-Raidi, confirmed that this phase comes as a continuation of supporting community projects that contribute to providing services and enhancing local development, noting that the support targets 350 community initiatives in various directorates. He added that this amount is part of the first and second phases, praising the efforts of the Central Interventions Unit in achieving development and mobilizing society in the fields of water, education, roads, and health.
He also pointed out that the Prime Minister inaugurated several community initiative projects last week worth two billion riyals, expressing his appreciation for the continued support from the local authority and the central unit.
For his part, Abdulrahman Al-Wadi, Deputy Director of Amran Cement Factory for Financial Affairs, explained that General Cement Corporation provided the necessary quantities of cement to support vital projects, praising the local community's interaction with these initiatives. He also stressed the importance of continuing support to accommodate new projects and achieve more achievements in various sectors.
In turn, Public Relations and Media Director at the Interventions Unit, Marwan Al-Sharif, explained that this support comes in the implementation of the directives of Revolutionary and Political Leadership, and under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, to make community initiatives successful and achieving sustainable development in the governorate.
