The German newspaper "Bild" revealed today that the US envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, announced Washington's intention to deliver one of the most powerful non-nuclear weapons systems to Israel, known as the "Mother of All Bombs".
Witkoff said, according to the German newspaper, that the Pentagon will send to Israel the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb, which weighs 11 tons and is capable of destroying deep underground bunkers.
These massive bombs have been on Israel's list of requests since the early 21st century, but all US presidents from George W. Bush to Joe Biden have refused to export them, including Trump during his first term.
These massive conventional aerial bombs are known as Massive Ordnance Air Burst (MOAB), and are nicknamed the "Mother of All Bombs."
