Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei on Monday urged Yemeni businessmen to take advantage of the benefits offered by the new investment law and the diverse opportunities available in the tourism sector.
Al-Yafei also highlighted the exemptions provided for tourism industry projects.
During his inspection visit to al-Kathib Beach Corniche and several tourist attractions in Hodeida province, Minister al-Yafei emphasized that the draft of the new investment law includes various advantages and facilities designed to safeguard national capital.
He noted that the law aims to promote tourism, create a promising economic cycle, and contribute to comprehensive economic development.
The Minister directed the ministry's office in the province to expedite the preparation of a proposal and comprehensive study to address the erosion of al-Kathib Corniche Beach.
He instructed that the proposal be developed in coordination with the local authority to ensure the rehabilitation of the area, as well as the enhancement of investments and tourism infrastructure in this promising province.
