The Capital Secretary Dr. Hamoud Abad announced that the Capital Secretariat will sponsor the maintenance of 5,000 archaeological manuscripts of the Manuscripts House.

During his meeting with Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei on Tuesday at the Manuscripts House, on the sidelines of their participation in the Prime Minister's visit to a number of historical monuments in the old city of Sana'a, he explained that this step comes within the framework of the Capital Secretariat's keenness to support the manuscripts conservation project.

Abad pointed out that Yemeni manuscripts are part of the essence of culture and national identity. He emphasized the keenness to support the efforts of the Culture and Tourism Ministry in the success of this important national project.
