On Monday evening, the Zionist enemy army aircraft targeted a crowded market east of Gaza City, killing two and wounding others, in an initial toll.
Local sources said that the fire as a result of the shelling consumed a large part of the popular Omar al-Mukhtar market, and citizens tried with simple tools to extinguish it, but to no avail.
Medical sources at the Baptist Hospital spoke of the arrival of a large number of wounded children as a result of the targeting of the market with several missiles.
The toll of the continuous Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, since the seventh of October last year, rose to 44,466 martyrs and 105,358 injured.
