Sana'a - Saba: The Eastern Sector Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society, in Sana'a Governorate, launched the harvest season of improved seeds in the Qaa Saadan farms affiliated with the society.
During the inauguration, the head of the Eastern Sector Society, Abdul Razzaq Al-Makhrafi, explained that the society seeks, through the harvest of 13 researches for improved wheat seeds this year, to select seeds that produce large agricultural crops that benefit farmers in the sector.
Al-Makhrafi pointed out that within the framework of developing agricultural production, the society has adopted Qaa Saadan farms in Bilad Al-Rus Directorate as a farm for agricultural research and propagation of various seeds and legumes to ensure qualitative and distinctive production that benefits the farmer, noting that this season's crop of improved seeds is expected to exceed six tons.
