Tehran - Saba:
The joint naval exercises "Aionz 2024" have begun with the participation of eight countries, including Russia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, India, Thailand, Pakistan, Qatar, and Bangladesh.
The exercises are organized under the leadership of the Iranian army's strategic naval force, with the participation of the Revolutionary Guard naval forces, Iranian police border guards, and the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization.
The exercises include specialized sessions and workshops to transfer expertise, and field exercises will be organized for participating units.
The motto of the maneuvers is "Together for a Safe and Stable Indian Ocean."
