Sana'a - Saba: The Supreme Committee for Supporting al-Aqsa held a meeting chaired by Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, representing President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat.
The meeting began with a recitation of al-Fatihah for the soul of the martyr Sayyed Hassan Abdul Karim Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, who was recently martyred.
The committee extended condolences and congratulations to the Resistance Axis leadership, the Lebanese people, Hezbollah's leadership, and the family of Nasrallah for his dedication to the Palestinian cause, praising his lifelong efforts defending his homeland and the broader nation.
The committee also praised the Islamic Republic of Iran’s "True Promise" operation, which struck numerous Zionist military and security targets in occupied Palestine.
This operation was seen as a response to the assassination of key resistance leaders, including Ismail Haniyeh and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The committee commended this collective effort by the Resistance Axis.
Additionally, the committee highlighted the operations conducted by Yemeni armed forces, which targeted vital enemy sites and ships violating the decision to block access to ports in occupied Palestine. It emphasized the importance of maintaining such impactful operations in support of Gaza until the Zionist aggression against Gaza and Lebanon ceases.
The meeting also reviewed plans for commemorating the first anniversary of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle, recognizing its significant results in the fight against the Zionist enemy and the unification of the Resistance Axis. October 7 was celebrated as a turning point in the struggle to liberate Al-Aqsa and Palestine.
Lastly, the committee approved the organization of a grand march to be held in al-Sabeen Square in Sana'a on Friday, as well as similar events in other free governorates, to show solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples amidst the ongoing conflict.
The committee called on the Yemeni people to participate in these significant marches, considering the recent developments in the struggle against the Zionist occupation.
