SANA'A - SABA : The national youth team began its journey in the Asian qualifiers with a valuable victory over its counterpart East Timor with three goals to one in the match that brought them together today in the Indonesian capital Jakarta in the opening of the first round of Group Six competitions.

Yemen's youth team, led by national coach Mohammed Al-Badani, his assistant Haitham Al-Asbahi and goalkeeping coach Mohammed Jawan, ended the first half with a clean goal lead by striker Abdul Aziz Masnoum.
