NEW YORK - Saba: The UN General Assembly is expected on Wednesday to vote on a resolution drafted by the State of Palestine calling on the Israeli occupier to end its illegal presence in the Palestinian territories within 12 months.
The resolution draft reflects the judgment issued last July by the International Court of Justice on the legal impacts resulted from Israel's policies and practices in Palestine, the Palestinian representative to the UN said at the UN General Assembly's 10th emergency session resumed late on Tuesday.
The draft is sponsored by 40 member states and relies on the international law, Riyadh Yaseen added, underlining the need to respect the rule of law and the Palestinian people's rights to access to justice.
