SANA'A, August 25, 2024 (Saba) -The Minister of Defense, Major General Mohamed Al-Atifi, chaired an expanded meeting on Sunday in Sana'a. Participants included the Chief of the General Staff, Major General Mohamed Al-Ghamari, Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Ali Al-Mushki, the Inspector General, heads of bodies, and military forces and regional commanders.
In the meeting, the Minister of Defense stressed that with the blessed launch of the government of change and construction, the Ministry of Defense confirms the high morale flowing in the Great Homeland Institution, the armed forces, which always hope to advance the homeland and develop its defense capabilities to be free, strong, dear to status, dignity, and independence.
He said, "We stand today on the threshold of a full decade of aggressive war, suffocating siege, economic and media war, but it is a decade full of challenge and determination to achieve, thoughtful work, military activity, and the direction with faith and trust in God towards military industrialization and achieving the desired superiority in this aspect and providing all means of deterrence to the Yemeni armed forces, whether by developing the missile power of the medium and long-range missile system of ballistic missiles and cruise missiles winged or through the development of offensive and tactical drones, as well as the development of the air defense system and naval systems."
He explained that Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi represented wise leadership. The leader of the twenty-first of September revolution, and with the support of all segments of the great Yemeni people, was keen to achieve tangible achievements, which are evidence of the good management of the orientation, sincerity, principle, and exceptionality of this courageous and loving leader for his homeland and his people, and the faithful mujahid defending his Arabic and Islamic nation.
General Al Atifi stressed that the Yemeni armed forces in their various categories, formations, missile force, and flyby at the highest levels of combat readiness, moral and logistical, awaited directives to strike painfully deep into the usurped Zionist entity and into sensitive and dangerous locations that he never expected.
"We also assure everyone that in the armed forces, we have received strong and strict guidance to identify appropriate and effective methods with the challenges posed by the Zionist enemy to the region and Yemen." He added.
He reiterated that "the Zionist entity will only find from us all the strength, toughness and solidity and will pay a heavy price in response to its persistence in violating the sovereignty of the homeland and targeting civilian objects in the city of Hodeidah, and making it realize that it rushed into an uncalculated adventure and it is time for it to bear the heavy burdens of the confrontation, and it and those who support it must understand that this aggression is not only a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions but also reflects a flagrant disregard for the values of humanity."
He pointed out that the military combat decision has studied all the military determinants, read well the elements of weakness of the Zionist enemy, and came up with an integrated conclusion confirming that the most important points of the Zionist Goals Bank have been monitored and identified carefully and very accurately and have undergone a process of deep information and intelligence analysis and following the rules of engagement with Yemeni specificity that does not take into account any confrontation ceilings or any red lines in a way that ensures the achievement of the desired goal. Stressing that the missile force, the drone force, and the naval forces, has the capabilities and capabilities that provide it with accurate and tight implementation in aiming to ensure this system the power of impact and cause the greatest damage to the sensitive sites and targets that have been identified.
