GAZA July 28. 2024 (Saba) -The Israeli army on Sunday kept on blocking Gaza crossings, denying the wounded and patients right to travel for treatment and civilians access to humanitarian assistance, and leaving the Strip in humanitarian disaster and starvation.

Since its invasion of Rafah 83 days ago, the Zionist army took control of Rafah crossing, in addition to Karm abu Salem crossing, despite warnings issued by rights groups and international demands to reopen the crossings and avoid famine.

Amid such devastating war in Gaza, the World Food Program has warned that the Strip's 2-million people suffer food insecurity, following a severe decline in assistance deliveries to Gaza.

According to Gaza health ministry, about 20,000 wounded and sick people currently need to travel abroad for treatment, but "none of them was able to leave the sieged Strip.
