HODEIDA July 20. 2024 (Saba) - The local authority, human rights organizations and civil society in Hodeidah Governorate condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist aggression by targeting civilian facilities in the governorate.

The local authority and the organizations denounced in a statement received by Saba on Saturday, the targeting of fuel tanks in the oil facilities in the port of Hodeidah, the Ras Dune power station and the station's fuel tanks.

The statement stated that the aggression aircraft carried out a number of raids that targeted these civilian objects, which led to the injury of more than 70 civilians in a preliminary toll of victims who were treated to hospitals, some of whom were severely burned and in serious condition, stressing that the toll is likely to increase.

The statement held the international community, especially the United Nations, the Security Council and international organizations, fully responsible for the blatant Israeli aggression on Hodeidah governorate and the targeting of service facilities with the aim of compounding the suffering of the Yemeni people.

It considered the targeting of civilian objects an extension of the war crimes against the Yemeni people, committed by the US-Saudi aggression coalition, which continues to implement plans that serve the agendas of the Zionist entity in the region.

The statement stressed that these raids and crimes will not discourage the people of Hodeidah from steadfastness and steadfastness in the face of aggression, pointing out that the battle waged by the Yemeni people, for more than nine years, is a battle of liberation and independence, and in order to support the religion of Allah and the vulnerable in the face of the arrogant America, Israel and their lackeys.
