MOSCOW July 20. 2024 (Saba) - The governor of the Russian Rostov region, Vasily Golubeev, announced on Saturday that Russian air defenses destroyed 26 Ukrainian drones in the region overnight.

The agency quoted "Sputnik" Golubev as saying in a statement via the application "Telegram": "The air defense forces, last night, intercepted and destroyed 26 drones in the Rostov region and there were no casualties as a result of the attack."

He said emergency services were deployed at the site where the wreckage of the drones fell.

Ukrainian forces target almost daily Russian border areas in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Crimea provinces with aircraft, drones and missiles.
