GAZA July 20. 2024 (Saba) - Al-Awda Hospital in Nossairat, central Gaza Strip, on Saturday said doctors successfully saved a fetus from the womb of its martyred mother.

The Palestinian "Wafa" agency quoted the hospital as saying that the hospital's ambulance and emergency department received a martyr who was nine months pregnant, in the early hours of dawn today, after the Zionist enemy targeted her home. She was immediately transferred to the operations department, where obstetricians and gynecologists began an urgent operation to open The stomach of the martyr and the removal of the fetus, which was born alive and was transferred to the nursery department of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

It is noteworthy that al-Awda Hospital in Nossairat is the only hospital that provides obstetrics and gynecology services in the Central Governorate from the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip until today.
