HAGUE July 20. 2024 (Saba) -The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is authorized to give an opinion on the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory, the ICJ said on Friday, rejecting calls by the Zionist entity and other countries to not give such opinion.
It is the Court's right to give opinion on legal complications of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories since 1967, ICJ Chief Judge said.
The long-term occupation of Palestinian lands does not change its legal status as an occupied state, Nawaf Salam added at a session held in the Hague-based Court.
