MOSCOW July 18. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday that its forces killed and wounded 1,755 Ukrainian soldiers in the past 24 hours, and shot down dozens of drones and missiles on various combat fronts.
The ministry said, in its daily report on the progress of military operations in Ukraine, that its soldiers were able to repel attacks on various combat fronts, while the Air Force was able to destroy the infrastructure of Mirgorod military airport, and shoot down a MiG-29 aircraft.
The statement indicated that the Russian air defenses were able to shoot down three "Hammer" guided bombs, six "Himars" missiles, and 74 Ukrainian drones, and destroyed ten drone boats in the Black Sea.
