New York July 13. 2024 (Saba) -The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, confirmed today, Saturday, that the time has come to end the war on the Gaza Strip, which has entered its tenth month, calling on the parties to reach an agreement.

Guterres wrote, in a post on the “X” platform: “It is time to end the terrible war on the Gaza Strip.

He pointed out that this process must begin with an "immediate ceasefire" and "the unconditional release of all prisoners."
