BEIRUT March 23. 2024 (Saba) - Beirut accused Israel of infringing the Lebanese sovereignty and disarraying the aviation systems in Beirut airport since the beginning of war on Gaza, and filed an urgent complaint at the UN Security Council.
The Lebanese permanent mission in the UN was told to present this complaint to the Security Council, the Lebanese foreign ministry said in a statement.
The complaint builds on a campaign documenting the Zionist violations, and was preceded by a series of complaints previously filed, the ministry added.
The statement deplored such Zionist "reckless" acts and their dangerous complications on the safety of civil aviation and life of thousands of civil passengers, in blatant violation of international laws.
