MOSCOW March 18. 2024 (Saba) - The preliminary results of the Russian presidential elections, on Sunday, showed the victory of President Vladimir Putin with 87.97% of the votes.
According to Russia Today, Russia's electoral commission reported that Putin received 87.97 percent of the vote after 24 percent of polling stations were counted.
The committee noted that the participation rate in the Russian presidential elections abroad exceeded 70%.
The election commission in the capital Moscow said that according to the first data, the participation rate in the presidential elections in the city exceeded 66%.
On Sunday evening, polling stations in the All-Russian presidential elections closed their doors and members of the Russian Election Commission began counting votes in all centers and sending them to the capital, Moscow.
