MOSCOW February 27. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that the army's air defense systems shot down last night two Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region and a third over the Belgorod region.

TASS quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aerial drones on targets on Russian territory was repelled.

The air defense systems on duty were able to destroy two Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Bryansk region and one over the territory of the Belgorod region."

Earlier in the day, the Russian military announced that the crews of the S-300 air defense system shot down three Kiev warplanes with the participation of the Buk-M2 air defense system in the direction of Zaporozhye.
