MOSCOW November 23. 2023 (Saba) - Russian forces completed today naval exercises with Indian forces in the Bay of Bengal. The exercises witnessed the landing of an Indian Navy helicopter on the deck of a Russian ship.
According to Sputnik, video footage published by the Russian Ministry of Defense showed an Indian Navy helicopter landing on the deck of a Russian ship, and the Russian destroyer Admiral Tributs participated in the anti-submarine training exercises.
The ministry said in a statement earlier, November 20 of this year: “A detachment of warships of the Pacific Fleet, consisting of the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Tributes and the medium naval tanker Pechenga, arrived as part of a long-distance cruise inAsia-Pacific region.
The statement explained that at the main base of the Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy, a ceremony was held to welcome the Russian ships, and protocol, cultural and sporting events were planned for sailors in the Pacific Ocean.
