OCCUPIED AL-QUDS November 23. 2023 (Saba) - A young Palestinian man was martyred on Thursday when then Zionist enemy stormed the vicinity of Balata refugee camp, eastern Nablus city, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Medical sources at Rafidiya Governmental Hospital announced the martyrdom of the young man, Izz al-Din Mustafa Muhammad Hafi,18, in a critical injury sustained by enemy bullets in the head.
The Palestinian Safa News Agency said that confrontations took place on al-Quds Street near Balata Camp, between young men and enemy forces that stormed the eastern area of Nablus, during which a number of young men were injured.
Red Crescent sources reported that al-Hafi was hit by enemy bullets at Balata al-Balad intersection and the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching him, leaving him bleeding for a long time while lying on the ground.
The sources added that enemy forces detained four ambulance crews while trying to reach a number of casualties at Balata Junction on al-Quds Street, and took away the car keys and mobile devices.
Enemy forces stormed the eastern region of Nablus with large reinforcements of military vehicles and from several axes, and deployed on al-Quds Street and the vicinity of Balata camp, while sniper soldiers were deployed on a number of buildings overlooking the camp, in conjunction with reconnaissance aircraft flying over the area.
Enemy military bulldozers bulldozed the entrances to Balata camp and a number of internal streets.
Large numbers of foot soldiers stormed Balata camp, raided the headquarters of Jaffa Cultural Center and turned it into a military barracks. They also raided several homes, assaulted their residents, and interrogated them on the ground.
