SANA'A November 19. 2023 (Saba)-Following in the footsteps of the lofty Gaza, which pushed the nose of the Zionist enemy into the dirt and broke the thorn of global arrogance... the scope of confrontations and clashes with enemy forces is expanding in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
In the latest confrontations, a Zionist soldier was killed on Thursday, while seven others, including two settlers, were injured in a heroic shooting operation, in which Palestinian heroes were martyred.
Local sources reported, according to Palestinian media, that the three Palestinian resistance fighters stormed the checkpoint with their weapons and opened fire on the soldiers present there directly, as the Zionist enemy admitted that eight Zionist soldiers were wounded.
Later, the Zionist Kan channel admitted that a Zionist soldier died as a result of his wounds in the heroic shooting operation.
In the details of the operation, according to local sources, the resistance fighters arrived at the tunnel checkpoint in a car, got out, stormed the Zionist checkpoint, and clashed with the Zionist enemy soldiers.
This heroic operation comes at a time when the West Bank and Jerusalem are witnessing an escalation in the pace of guerrilla operations within the framework of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, despite the escalation of Zionist arrests and oppression.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, since the 7th of last October, the West Bank and Jerusalem have witnessed about 604 shooting operations, including 198 specific operations and 1,542 confrontations in various forms until last Wednesday, these operations resulted in the death of six Zionists and the injury of 60 others. On the other hand, about 204 were martyred. Palestinians and more than 2,400 others were injured, in addition to more than 2,700 detainees.
Two days ago, the city and Tulkarm camp witnessed a major Zionist aggression, which caused great destruction in the streets, infrastructure, and citizens’ property.
This brutal aggression resulted in the death of seven citizens by the bullets of the Zionist enemy forces, including three during a missile strike from a drone, while the number of injuries reached 18, their condition was described as serious to moderate.
The martyrdom of these seven citizens, the death toll in Tulkarm Governorate since the seventh of last October rose to 32 martyrs.
At the beginning of this week, the Zionist enemy forces stormed the city of Jenin, amid the deployment of snipers on the roofs, and cut off electricity to the city coinciding with their storming, and a number of Palestinian martyrs fell due to the enemy.
Three days ago, the Zionist enemy forces continued a massive arrest campaign for more than 41 days throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The ongoing arrest campaigns come within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people and the Zionist war on Gaza, after the seventh of last October, which included all groups, including children, the elderly, and women.
Two days ago, the Zionist enemy forces arrested at least about 85 Palestinians from the West Bank and Jerusalem, including the girl Fayrouz Salama, a graduate student at Birzeit University, who was arrested from her university residence.
Thus, the total number of arrests since the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood rose to more than 2,735, and this total includes those who were arrested from their homes.
This coincides with the continuation of the barbaric Zionist-American aggression against the Gaza Strip since the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle on the seventh of last October, which, according to the official data announced, led to an increase in the death toll in the Gaza Strip to more than 11,660 martyrs, including 4,710 children and 3,160 women, as well as more than 32 thousand citizens were injured, more than 70 percent of whom were children and women.
According to the official announcement of the Zionist enemy; The total number of deaths among its army reached 370 soldiers and officers since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
