DAMASCUS November 18. 2023 (Saba) - Today, Saturday, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of four drones in the countryside of Aleppo and Latakia.
The Syrian news agency SANA quoted the ministry in a statement, saying: “Units of the Syrian army in the direction of the countryside of Aleppo and Latakia responded to attempts by terrorist organizations to attack safe villages and towns and some military points, and were able to destroy and shoot down four drones.”
On November 13, the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of four drones in the countryside of Idlib, Hama, and Aleppo, belonging to terrorist organizations that were trying to attack safe villages and some military points.
A drone was also shot down in the Jurin area in the northern countryside of Hama. It was equipped with a liquid-fuel rocket engine, was four meters long, had a wingspan of six metres, and was loaded with one hundred kilograms of explosive materials.
