US military plane crashes in Mediterranean Sea
[Sun, 12 Nov 2023 09:12:19 +0300]

WASHINGTON November 12. 2023 (Saba) - The US Military Command in Europe has said that a US Air Force plane crashed in the Mediterranean Sea in a training sortie last Friday, noting that the causes of the accident are still under investigation.

A statement by the US Command in Europe said “On the evening of November 10, a US military plane was involved in an unfortunate accident and crashed while carrying out training operations in the eastern Mediterranean.”

The statement explained that the plane crash was “related to its training activity,” and that there was no evidence that it crashed as a result of hostile action.

As part of its support for the Zionist enemy in its ongoing hostile war on the Gaza Strip, the United States sent a US Navy “rapid intervention unit” to the eastern Mediterranean region.

The US Department of Defense said it has sent 900 soldiers to the Middle East, including air defense system operators.
