Latin American countries boycott Zionist entity... Normalization countries share its crimes in Palestine

CAPITALS November 07.2023 (Saba)-At a time when a group of non-Muslim and non-Arab countries sever their relations with the Zionist enemy entity and the Arab and Muslim normalization countries do not do so, we are certainly facing a form of partnership in the crimes of the Zionist-American aggression against the Palestinians and satisfaction with it.

At the height of the American Zionist crimes against Gaza and Palestine, and at a time when regional and international reactions to these crimes varied between diplomatic and relief efforts, all the way to summoning the ambassador and severing relations, which is the step that some expected the Arab normalization countries to take, it came from countries In Latin America, especially Bolivia, Colombia and Chile.

In conjunction with this dishonorable situation for Arab normalization regimes, Bolivia was one of the first countries to sever its diplomatic relations with the Zionist enemy entity, while Colombia and Chile recalled their ambassadors to the usurping entity in protest against its ongoing attack on Gaza, which led to the martyrdom of thousands of Palestinians, most of them from Children and women.

These countries condemned the Zionist attacks on the Gaza Strip and condemned the killing of Palestinian citizens. Thus, these Latin American countries are taking practical positions against the large-scale Zionist attack on the Gaza Strip at a time when the normalization governments were unable to activate the slightest steps of support by withdrawing their ambassadors and cutting all their relations with the Zionist enemy.

In the most prominent political development in the context of solidarity and condemnation of the ongoing Zionist war of genocide against the people of the Gaza Strip, the government of the Republic of Bolivia decided to sever its diplomatic relations with the Zionist enemy entity.

Bolivia's severing of its relations with the enemy entity came after the country's president, Luis Arce, gave the entity's authorities a deadline to stop its aggression, and strongly condemned the brutal bombing operations launched by the occupation against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Bolivian Deputy Foreign Minister Freddy Mamani said in a press conference: The government “decided to sever diplomatic relations with the Zionist entity in rejection and condemnation of the aggressive and disproportionate attack being launched in Gaza Strip.”

Bolivia's move was followed by Chile, where its Foreign Ministry announced in a statement its condemnation of the Zionist crimes in Gaza Strip, and said: It had summoned its ambassador for consultations, justifying this as an unacceptable violation of international human rights committed by the Zionist enemy.

The ministry’s statement said: “In light of the unacceptable violation of international human rights committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza Strip, the Chilean government summoned the Chilean ambassador to Tel Aviv, Jorge Carvajal, for consultations.”

The statement continued: “Chile is watching with concern the Zionist military operation, which at this stage resembles punishing the defenseless Palestinian civilian population. The actions of the occupying entity in Gaza do not respect the basic rules of international law and commit war crimes, as evidenced by the fall of more than nine thousand victims, most of whom are women and the children."

In Bogota, Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced, in a post on the “X” website, the recall of his country’s ambassador to the Zionist enemy entity, due to its aggression in Gaza... describing the Zionist attacks as “a massacre of the Palestinians.”

Petro said: "I decided to summon our ambassador to Israel... and if you do not stop the massacre it is committing against the Palestinians, we will not be able to stay there."

The Colombian president likened the Zionist entity's ongoing war on Gaza Strip to "the Nazis' persecution of the Jews during World War II."

Colombia expelled the Zionist entity's ambassador from the capital, Bogota, on October 16, while announcing the complete severing of its relations and the withdrawal of its ambassador from Tel Aviv until the aggression against the Strip stopped.

For its part, the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Zionist crimes in Gaza Strip, and called for an immediate ceasefire in the Strip.

Peru also joined its neighbors in condemning the Zionist massacres against Palestinians in Gaza Strip, and expressed its deep concern about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the region.

Other countries in Latin America, such as Mexico and Brazil, also recently called for a ceasefire. Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said: “What is happening now is madness from the prime minister of the entity’s authority that wants to wipe out Gaza Strip.”

In contrast to all this, to date, no diplomatic position has been issued to summon ambassadors or sever relations from the countries that normalized with the Zionist entity, which are respectively Egypt, the Emirates, Morocco and Sudan, while the decision of Jordan and Bahrain to recall their ambassadors to the Zionist entity is a decision that has been long overdue and has no value now because it is just scanning a threshold, nothing more, nothing less.

The bias of the Latin American countries, with their governments, political and media elites, and their condemnation of the Zionist-American crimes, made them, according to their recent decisions, closer to the Palestinians than the Arab normalization regimes. What is happening from these regimes has gone beyond inaction to partnership in crime, true partnership in the shedding of Palestinian blood.
