TEHRAN Aug. 21. 2023 (Saba) - Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Seyyed Ali Khamenei has called for continuing the path of martyrs, struggle, steadfastness and resistance to confront the knowledge, economic, political and security war of the enemies of the Islamic Revolution.
Tasnim International News Agency quoted Ayatollah Khamenei, during a meeting with members of the National Conference to Honor the Martyrs of Ardabil Province as saying Ardabil has a great right over Iran, and I told my brothers and sisters during a meeting with the people of Ardabil a few years ago that the people of Ardabil have done two great things for Iran.
He added one is a national action and the other is a religious action.. The national mission is to create unity in the country, and this means that this unity and cohesion that you see today in Iran is an action undertaken by the Safavid government, Also, spreading and promoting the doctrine of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) was their religious work .
He continued "It is important to preserve the path of the martyrs and pass on their practical biography to the younger generation and scholars, thinkers, academics and government officials must play their role in this field.
He stressed that the method of confrontation with the knowledge, economic, political and security war of the enemy front is to continue on the path of the martyrs and work on their lessons of struggle, steadfastness and resistance.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered the academic, jihadist and martyrdom past, and the presence in the areas in which national life was renewed, whether it was political and scientific life, jihad or independence, the identity of Ardabil.
He said "Eight years of the Sacred Defense ... reveals the role of our fighters and martyrs in untangling the contract and resolving problems. After the eight-year period of the Sacred Defense, the military war against us ended, but the knowledge, economic, political, and security war intensified day after day, and continued until today.
He added "All these wars were neutralized and thwarted thanks to steadfastness and the blessings of the resistance and the martyrs. Therefore, the path is clear to us. The path is the path of struggle, resistance and perseverance."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution expressed his belief that the love of Imam Hussein (PBUH) is not limited to Muslims only, pointing out that today the sects of Muslims and non-Muslims, such as Christians, Zoroastrians and Hindus, express their love for Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
He considered the 40th march an indication of the value that God Almighty gave to the blood of the martyrs and the path of the martyrs.. calling for preserving it.
